Scot Marcotte

Scot is president of the Illinois Fatherhood Initiative (IFI), the country's first state-wide charity dedicated to engaging dads in the education of their children. For 26 years, the IFI has sponsored a fatherhood essay contest, collecting nearly a half million heart-felt reflections on the important role dads, step-dads, grandfathers and father-figures can and should play in their kids' lives.

When not on a bike, Scot is the Chief Technology Officer for Buck, a Gallagher company. He also serves as the press box announcer for the Chicago Bears, volunteers on the Northwestern University Leadership Council, and lives in the northwest suburbs of Chicago with his wife Sarah and his teenage daughters Rachel and Stephanie.

Scot is riding as part of the "Dad's Honor Ride" team to raise awareness and funds for the IFI.
